Xandros: Did not acknowledge that Linux has encroached upon the Microsoft patent

He said that because GPLv3 did not have to complete officially, he is unable to comment it the influence which trades to the Xandros- Microsoft.

He said that this technology will help the Xandros conformity its server and management tool software and Microsoft\’s software. But he acknowledged that the customer was worried can receive the patent question the influence, hopes that can obtain the guarantee. He said that Linux said it has not encroached upon the patent, Microsoft thinks Linux has encroached upon its patent, but the customer hopes that can obtain guaranteed, will not be towed to the patent mire. Andry Yaaz said that this is Xandros this Monday and Microsoft reaches the agreement the reason. Xandros and Microsoft\’s agreement cover interoperability and intellectual property rights permitted, as well as the protection customer will not receive the patent infringement lawsuit “treaty of alliance”.

　　Andry Yaaz said that Xandros and Microsoft reach the agreement the motive are outside the permission basic agreement technologies, guarantees in two companies the server software, as well as Xandros BridgeWays management tool and between Microsoft\’s compatibility System Center management tools. Xandros will also develop the coupling, realizes Microsoft Open XML and between Open Document Format a better interactive nature.

　　Andry Yaaz pointed out that with transaction of Microsoft may guarantee two company\’s management tools cooperate perfectly. He said that Linux must obtain successfully in market, and speeds up to popularize the speed, must provide this kind of value to the customer.
